I started Over the moon home in 2019 as an instagram decor account with intentions of starting a shop. There was not a perfect opportunity until now to fully put my all into the shop. It has always been a dream of mine to vintage resell at some capacity.

Since I can remember, my mom would take me thrifting with her and I would always pick out vintage clothing and little items for my bedroom. I loved looking at things that were used "back in the olden days" later I would come to realize that I had an obsession for antiquing at a young age. Then when I moved into my current home, my obsession became very real and I had started a few collections of my own. 

I like to think I consciously put in effort to recycle by thrifting so much for my home. Although, not living a completely sustainable lifestyle is inevitable, we can all try our best to "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" so why not start by shopping secondhand for functional home goods and decor? 

I love the fact the sourced items in my shop have history of who previously owned them and whom they brought joy to. I get a sentimental feeling when finding names, dates, notes and even photos inside sometimes. Vintage goods have a past life and an only imaginable story left to tell. That makes secondhand shopping special in many ways.

I love finding unique things that are not only one of a kind but functional as well! I only source items that I would want in my own home. That being said, I carefully pick and inspect each item with you in mind! Over the moon home will be featuring curated collections with a wide range of styles so you can snag something that best fits your taste. I hope you love each item that I handpick for you as much as I do finding them.
